I’m Alison Miles-Jenkins, the Trainers’ Business Builder. I’m an expert award winning training business owner and an expert in marketing training businesses. It’s a rather unique and powerful combination isn’t it?

You will easily find expert trainers and there are plenty of marketing experts too. But I’m different because I’m both.

I’ve run my own successful training business since 1990 and I’m still running and growing that business now.

Even in the early days I had a 6 figure training business from working what was essentially part time as I raised my three kids. However, as you’ve probably found life gets in the way sometimes doesn’t it? I’ve had my fair share of trials and tribulations and still managed to survive 3 recessions.

A few years ago my business went through a very difficult time and I nearly lost it. From that experience I realised that I’d been focussing too much on being a trainer and not enough on growing my business.

I went into survival mode and invested everything I had in finding out how to become an expert in marketing. It was an amazing journey and once I had discovered how to apply marketing to the challenges of growing a profitable training business my life changed dramatically. I realised that had discovered the secrets to how to market training and my mission along with continuing to grow my own business is to now help you grow yours.

It’s working! I have rapidly become the Go-To Expert for trainers who are determined to grow their businesses and get the lifestyle and freedom they desire.

Now here’s the other thing about me that’s different. I don’t work with associate trainers and freelancers who are looking for contract work. This is because I find it heartbreaking to see fabulous people working so hard at such low rates to build someone else’s brand and business.

I help trainers position themselves as true experts, and to build their own brand and thriving businesses that have value, personal reward, and ways of providing security in the longer term.
